From a young age, Anna dreamed of becoming a counselor. Throughout her school years and into adulthood, she found encouragement and healing through the counselors who supported her, and their influence inspired her to pursue the same path.

Anna has a particular heart for those who carry the weight of pain they’ve witnessed or experienced. Anna’s own stories of hurt and struggle help her bring genuine empathy and connection to her work. In the same way, she carries stories of hope and healing—and she has found that clients can sometimes “borrow her hope,” so to speak, as they navigate their own paths toward wholeness.

Anna truly cares about her clients and strives to serve them with compassion and integrity. She believes counseling is not only about what insight she can offer, but also the courage and humility clients bring as they show up, commit to the process, and trust that healing is possible.

Anna views hope as one of the most precious and vulnerable parts of the human experience. It may ebb and flow in seasons of pain and suffering, yet she believes it remains a deep well we can draw from—even in the darkest moments.

As a Christian, Anna’s worldview is shaped by her faith. She believes the Lord is the true agent of change and healing, working in and through the counseling process. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside those she serves and looks forward to the opportunity to support each client in pursuing their goals and personal healing.

Anna holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. She has completed EMDR Basic Training through the Trauma Specialists Training Institute, an EMDRIA-approved program, and has pursued specialized training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders as well as Advanced Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. Anna is also a certified Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counseling Facilitator and has completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy through The Gottman Institute. In addition, she is an Approved Telehealth Provider through the Mississippi Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. 

Anna chose Collective Hope out of a sense of peace and leading she felt from the Lord to step into a new season after working in a wonderful group practice for 8 years. After discovering Collective Hope, Anna saw the opportunity to launch her solo practice while also enjoying the community, expertise and support of the Collective Hope group. Anna knew when she first sat down with Mary Beth that they were kindred spirits and hoped to one day be counseling alongside her—and now she is! She considers the opportunity to work with other Collective Hope counselors a huge blessing and gift.
